| An Act. to
provide for the regulation of admission and fixation of fee in private
professional educations institutions and the matters connected there with or
incidental there to, It is here
by enacted in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as Follows:- |

Note - Statement of Objects and Reasons.- |
The State
Government has been empowered by the Constitution Ninety-third Amendment to
make special provisions regarding admission to the educational institutions
including private educational institutions whether aided or unaided by the
State other than the minority educational institutions referred to in clause
(1) of Article 30 of the Constitution of India in a your of the persons
belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other
Backward Classes of citizen Besides, the Ministry of human Resources,
Government of India had suggested the the legislation should also be made
for the regulation of admission and fixations of fee in such
educational institutions. in the light of the suggestions given by the
ministry of Human resources, Government of India it has been decided to make
law to provide for the regulation of admission and fixation of fee in
private educational institutions and the matter connected therewith and
incidental thereto.
Since the State Legislature was not in session and immediate legislative
action was necessary to implement the aforesaid decision the Uttar Pradesh
Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and
Fixation of fee) Ordinance, 2006 (U.P. Ordinance No. 1 of 2006) was
promulgated by the Governor on July 10,2006.
This Bill is introduced to replace the aforesaid Ordinance. |
